This is a complete step-by-step guide to cleaning your system drive. In this video, I show you all the hidden locations in your Windows operating system where you can delete junk files and disable certain settings. WITHOUT HARMING YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM!

Commands and folder paths from the video:
1) Clear temporary system files:
Keyboard shortcut WINDOWS+R - cleanmgr
Advanced temporary system file cleanup:
Run command prompt as administrator: %systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe /c cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & cleanmgr /sagerun:65535

2) AppData folder path: C Drive - Users - "username" - AppData

3) Clear ProgramData folder: C Drive/ProgramData

4) Clear temp folders: Keyboard shortcut WINDOWS+R: temp, %temp%

5) Clear prefetch folder: Keyboard shortcut WINDOWS+R: prefetch

6) Clear update cache: Path:
C Drive/windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download

7) Clear storage WinSxS:
Run a command prompt as administrator:
Analyze the WinSxS store - dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore
Clean up the WinSxS store - dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

8) Clean up junk files in the Edge browser:
Path C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeCore

9) Clean up browsers: Ctrl+Shift+Delete

10) Disable restore points:
WINDOWS+R - systempropertiesprotection.exe

11) Disable Reserved Storage in Windows 10 and 11:
Run a command prompt as administrator:
Disable - DISM /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:Disabled
Enable - DISM /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:Enabled

12) Disabling the hibernation file:
Running a command prompt as administrator:
Disable the hibernation file - powercfg -h off
Enable the hibernation file - powercfg -h on

13) Operating system compression for Windows 10 and 11:
Running a command prompt as administrator:
Check system state - compact /compactos:query
Enable system compression - compact /compactos:always
Disable system compression - compact /compactos:never
