Breaking Free: A Journey of Artistic Rediscovery and Mental Health
Are you secretly playing small, or playing it safe with your art?

In this video, I share my personal journey of facing suppressed challenges, which, although difficult, has led to significant transformation. I reflect on how this process has liberated my creativity, allowing me to explore new styles with confidence. Despite drawing only once this year, I discuss the importance of mental health work and its role in unlocking my creative potential even further than I anticipated.

We also delve into the creation of a unique art piece inspired by 'Squid Game' We explore themes of consumption and the impact of social media on us as artists. I discuss how drawing and the natural process is more than good enough for our goals. To end on a note of encouragement, I want to emphasize the importance of balance, self-compassion, and allowing a natural flow of progress on any creative journey.
