Submitting WordPress Site To Google's Webmaster Tools
Submitting WordPress Site To Google's Webmaster Tools. I prefer to upload HTML file to my web root than editing meta tag, because when you change your theme, you don't need to edit your header.php meta tag code.

You don't need to change it, however you should decide with or without www. Discussion: http://www.blog.web6.org/with-or-with...

When you change this URL settings, there will be two things that will happen, depends on which version your WordPress is.
** 3.9 up version = You will be just logged out immediately, and you can login like usual.
** I guess earlier than 3.7 or older version (not sure since which version), you will be logged out, and you will find your site on error.
