2D Confetti Particle Effect in Unity! EASY AND QUICK
Hope this tutorial helps! As always you can change the values to whatever you want to make this particle effect your own :)
Written instructions:
-Create new particle effect
-Change rotation so its facing up and right
-Make it a 3D start size random between two constants; 0.1x,0.5y,1z and 0.3x,0.1y,1z (z doesn’t matter)
-Make it a random start rotation between 0 and 180
-Make it a random start color click random color, in the pop up change mode to fixed and then add a few different little tags on the bottom of the big white bar and select red,blue,pink,yellow,blue. You can move the tags to give a bigger section of it which means that more of that color will spawn.
-Make gravity source 2d physics and modifier 1
-Change emission to burst 55 and no rate over time
-Make it a random start speed between 6 and 15
-Limit velocity over lifetime and select curve, and a curve that goes down
-Limit size over lifetime too and select the same curve
-Make shape a smaller radius so it comes from a point
-Duplicate and rotate entire particle system and move to other side to have two firing across the screen
-Done
