For the first time BorisFX is including a 3d camera solver to mocha pro which is based on syntheyes a powererful state of the art camera tracker.
I will show you how to create a shrink effect in a few easy steps:
filming a practical plate,
filming greenscreen elements
keying and rotoing (with the roto brush tool)
planar tracking with mocha for AE
3d camera tracking with mocha pro
Setting up a camera, lights and a shadow catcher
adding 3d footage and 3d elements such as a drumset or a guitar amplifier to the scene
Adding motion blur with the pixel motion blur effect
creating a depth map / depth matte / z-depth pass within after effects with the 3D channel extract effect
using a camera lens blur in combination with the depth map to create a realistic out of focus, depth of field dof effect.
