ASMR Hammam Turkish Bath Soap Massage

Hammam, the national Turkish bath, has its own history, its traditions and features, its own characteristics. Hamam massage is not just hygienic procedures, it is a ritual of washing and massage, art of healing body, bringing a sense of bliss and lightness.

Turkish bath and Turkish massage in it - is what you need to definitely experience while traveling to Turkey. Although the hamam is in many countries around the world - this procedure has become so popular.

Hammam history
Having conquered the Byzantine Empire, the Turks inherited the material and cultural wealth of this civilization. Among the borrowed customs are the traditions of the baths, which the Byzantines themselves inherited from the Western Roman Empire.

Both Roman baths and Turkish Hammam were a place not only for washing, but also for communication, discussion of news. Here were made important political decisions, major trade deals were concluded. Intrigues were born and secrets were hidden.

Women's days were arranged in the Turkish baths once a week. Here one could take care of one's beauty, gossip, and look after the daughter-in-law for the son. If the husband, being jealous, did not let his wife go to the hammam that day, she had the right to demand a divorce.
