Autodesk Data Exchange and BIMDeX Revolutionize Interoperability
Autodesk and Srinsoft are partnering to enable seamless, cloud-based data transfer between various AEC, Manufacturing, and process plant software like Autodesk Plant3D, Autodesk Civil3D, AutoCAD MEP, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, Tekla, Autodesk Docs, Microsoft Power BI, and Autodesk Revit, facilitating the management of complex industrial-scale projects. In the center of these applications will be Autodesk Docs.
The collaboration underscores Autodesk’s and SrinSoft's commitment to enhancing interoperability and supporting the industry's shift toward more secure, cloud-based, data-centric solutions. Together, they are poised to set new standards for data exchange, enabling distributed teams to collaborate more effectively and deliver complex projects with increased speed, accuracy, and security.
This video shows a new mode of operation. Customers can use BIMDeX connectors to share subsets of their model via Autodesk Construction Cloud through a Data Exchange. This exchange can be permission-controlled, viewed, and bridged across hubs, making design data accessible through APS APIs. The data exchange can be updated, versioned, and integrated into countless automated workflows triggered by events. Additionally, customers can create visually rich dashboards using Autodesk Data Connector for Power BI.
