How To Delete Messages On Discord

To delete messages on Discord, follow these steps:
1. **Open Discord**: Launch the Discord app or website and log in to your account.
2. **Navigate to the Channel**: Go to the channel or direct message where the message you want to delete is located.
3. **Find the Message**: Scroll through the chat to locate the message you wish to delete.
4. **Hover Over the Message**: Move your mouse cursor over the message. If you're on mobile, tap and hold the message instead.
5. **Click the 'More' Button**: For desktop users, click on the three dots (⋮) that appear on the right side of the message. For mobile users, select the "Delete Message" option from the menu that appears.
6. *Confirm Deletion**: A prompt will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the message. Click **Delete* to confirm.
Note: You can only delete messages you have sent; you cannot delete messages sent by others unless you have the appropriate permissions (such as being a server moderator).
