In this video, we are going to test out the GL-iNet Flint 2 USB Network Attach Storage throughput with Samba 4 and CrystalDiskMark. At the time of making this video, the router runs GL-iNet stock firmware V4.6.2.
The GL-iNet Flint 2 (GL-MT6000) has a USB 3.0 port. This is perfect for Network File Sharing or adding LTE/5G connectivity. Some of you have requested to test the throughput/speed of the network drive, so, here it is.
For this test, I used the KIOXIA 128GB M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe, model KBG40ZNS128G and the ORICO Dual NVMe/SATA Dual Protocol SSD Enclosure • ORICO M.2 NVME/SATA Dual Protocol SSD Encl... . The device supports 10Gbps, but due to the limitation of both my PC's USB ports, and the NVMe SSD, the benchmark on PC is not really high.
