This video provides a walkthrough of the specification, skeletons, and tests for assignment 2a for my Scalable Microservices course at Vanderbilt in the spring of 2023. This assignment develops a synchronous microservice that uses Spring WebMVC, the Eureka Discovery Service, the Spring Cloud Gateway, the Retrofit type-safe client API, and the Java Persistence API to return Lists of objects containing information about movies from a movie recommender system we'll use throughout this course.
