Hello everyone and welcome to this brand new YouTube video. Today's topic is very specific: we'll be discussing common misconceptions about modern warfare and our perception of weaponry in 2023 in the face of global conflicts. While the war in Ukraine, which began in February 2022, has completely shaken up our vision and perspective on high-intensity technological and military conflict, this isn't actually all that surprising. For years, we've been conflating modern warfare with futuristic warfare, giving us a false idea of what war will be like in 2023-2024. This video draws on the early lessons of the Russo-Ukraine War, as well as those of World War II and the Cold War. We go back in time to explain why the warfare and military technologies currently used in global conflicts are not as innovative as they seem. Sarge, the leader, along with his team, offers a unique perspective and theme.
We live in the age of the internet, with systematic connections and analysis, yet we are still far from having high-tech military equipment for high-intensity conflicts. Contrary to expectations, it seems that a return to "traditional warfare" is being promoted. The aim is to explain why military technology is not yet fully utilized on the front lines and, more importantly, what the consequences are. This YouTube video will delve into the misconceptions surrounding modern warfare, particularly regarding equipment (the use of exoskeletons on the front lines, the use of robots, and automated technologies). We'll even look at case studies, such as the role of armored vehicles and their resurgence since the war in Ukraine. We'll examine the famous technological competition between the American Abrams tanks, the renowned French Leclerc tank, and the new Russian T-14 Armata, which is supposed to embody the future of armored technology. For this segment, we'll even have an engineer from KNDS (Nexter), a company specializing in the design and creation of new armored vehicle models, to share their insights. To broaden our perspective, we'll also consider the role of larger branches of the military, such as the navy, and its place in modern warfare. Indeed, since the sinking of the Moskva, which cost the Russian Federation approximately $900 million, the question arises: does the navy still have a place in modern warfare, and if so, what is its role?
The idea behind creating this YouTube video was truly to dispel preconceived notions and also to offer reassurance about the future. We are living in a geopolitically unstable era, with numerous conflicts making headlines, and for many, the prospect of modern warfare is drawing closer. This video should reassure viewers and explain why the world has no interest in going to war and starting World War III.
Video Highlights:
00:00 Introduction to Modern Warfare
02:10 Drones: The New Weapon?
05:00 The End of Armored Vehicles and Crewed Vehicles?
09:57 The T-14 Armata: A Counter-Example to Automation?

21:21 Exo Skeletons: The Obvious New Weapon?
24:50 Military Technology: A Factor of Chaos in the World?
28:12 War hasn't changed, it has evolved.
31:05 Conclusion: Live with the times.
I warmly thank all the participants in the video and those who researched armored vehicles, ships, and modern aviation, including the arrival of 6th-generation fighter jets. Also, thank you for your contributions regarding autonomous robots, drones, and exoskeletons. Feel free to continue the discussion and share your opinions in the comments section; I will respond with great interest.
