In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use Content-Aware Fill in Adobe After Effects to remove logos, unwanted objects, and other distractions directly from your footage.
Using the built-in Mocha tracker and a few simple masking techniques, you’ll learn how to create clean and professional fixes for shots that would otherwise seem impossible to correct. This is an incredibly useful technique for removing branding, signs, small objects, or any distracting elements you may have overlooked while filming.
Once you understand this workflow, you’ll be able to apply it to a wide range of visual effects and cleanup tasks in both narrative and commercial projects.
I’ll also be providing the project file and sample footage in the links below so you can follow along and practice the technique yourself.
