How to Fix Rocket League “Load Failure – Save Data Is Corrupt”
If your Rocket League displays “Load Failure – Save Data Is Corrupt,” it means your local save or configuration file has become damaged. First, close the game and navigate to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\SaveData. Rename the existing SaveData.sav to SaveData.old and restart the game — this will force it to create a new clean save. If your progress syncs via Epic or Steam Cloud, your items and ranks are safe. Disable auto-sync temporarily to prevent re-downloading the corrupted file. You can also verify the game files through Epic or Steam to restore any missing assets. If the problem persists, disable any mods or overlays that modify configuration data (e.g., BakkesMod). For console users, delete local saved data but keep cloud saves intact to restore clean files.
