Tyler Kidd - Burned Bridges (Official Visualizer)
I've been sitting on this song for awhile. I'm really excited to share it with you all. Happy Halloween!
This music video took my over a month to edit in Unreal Engine. I was working on teaching myself how to use Unreal, and had no clue how daunting it would be. I don't think I'll be making one of these visualizers again, but I'm super stoked on the result!
My producer worked on this beat with his wife during a fun random number generator session they had. He would choose a type of sample like a hi-hat and ask his wife to choose a number between 1-20, and whatever number she chose he would have to use on the track. That's why you hear a garage door opening at the start of the song. The hi-hats are actually a plastic spoon sound effect. Love the backstory behind this beat.
LYRICS:
Verse1:
We were just 16
We were thinking bout our dreams
Singing our songs we aint worried bout a thing
Oh pretty please let me be 16
Not just the past, not just a memory
Chorus:
Burned all my bridges pull out my stitches
Remove all these skeletons,
and bury them in ditches
even god won't answer my wishes cause
ive burned all my bridges
Verse2:
Ive checked but theres no messages
I hate when I feel like this
I miss your voice like I miss your kiss
I didnt hurt you and you didnt hurt me
It was just the past, now just a memory
Chorus:
Burned all my bridges pull out my stitches
Remove all these skeletons,
and bury them in ditches
even god won't answer my wishes cause
ive burned all my bridges
Bridge:
Never gonna be the son I know
Waiting for the sunlight downlow
Let go oh no
I never said Id let go
Never gonna be the son I know
Waiting for the sunlight downlow
Let go oh no
I never said Id let go
Chorus:
Burned all my bridges pull out my stitches
Remove all these skeletons,
and bury them in ditches
even god won't answer my wishes cause
ive burned all my bridges
