How do I connect NodeMCU to a MySQL database? How do I create a server? We can use the PHP programming language as the server language, which will connect MySQL to the NodeMCU. Once the NodeMCU is connected to Wi-Fi and the database, it will periodically send data to be stored in the MySQL database. This is an example of an IoT project using NodeMCU. Why? Because all data is exchanged via the internet (IoT).
