Google Chrome extensions give us a way to get past CORS blocked websites.
CORS is a mechanism that prevents scripts on one domain from pinging or fetching data from other domains.
It's a way of creating a more secure web.

When developing robust Chrome extensions however, you're going to need to know how to bypass the CORS of web servers.
I show you how in this video using both JQuery's AJAX function and the native Fetch API of Javascript.
