The 1982 French comedy, "Les Sous-doués en vacances" (The Underachievers on Vacation), is a cult classic that went viral, following the huge cinematic and comedic success of Claude Zidi's 1980 film, "Les Sous-Doués." After passing their baccalaureate exams, the famous "Sous-Doués," including actor Daniel Auteuil, decide to go on vacation to Saint-Tropez in the South of France. In this very funny scene from the film, the Saint-Tropez police decide to trick the tourists with a fake white line on the road. It's one of the funniest and most famous scenes in the film, still a staple of French comedy today, making us laugh with its simplicity, especially when nothing goes according to plan.
