Indie game developers are some of the most beloved personalities in the gaming industry with how they're able to connect with the viewers through a unique medium, like how Toby Fox is able to offer deep storytelling through Undertale and how Eric Barone is able to give you a great cozy indie experience through Stardew Valley. Unfortunately though, some indie developers have earned a terrible reputation throughout the years for actions or comments made online, like in the case of Phil Fish, or just outright terrible business practices like in the case of Digital Homicide Studios.
