PowerPoint Basics - Draw a custom placeholder, align objects and distribute horizontally, align top, draw a straight line, PowerPoint text tool word wrap
In this video, you will learn how to create a placeholder using the text tool. Also learn how to make the text word wrap. To use word wrap, you need to establish how far you want the text to appear at the end of the line by drawing an imaginary box on the screen prior to releasing the mouse.
Work with the line tool and draw a straight line. Simply hold the shift key while dragging the line on the canvas.
Create a rectangle, duplicate the image, align the shapes at the top and distribute them horizontally. Choose Align | Top or Align Distribute Horizontally.
You can use these tips in other graphics applications such as Canva and TechSmith's SnagIT.
