Programmers vs Coders - What's the difference to me?
In this video I explain what the difference between programmers and coders are to me.
I discuss how programmers are thinkers and apply design patterns to any programming problem, rather than being an expect in tools vs a coder who are experts in languages and tools, but don't generally possess the ability to think and reason with logic.
Basically a programmer can code in any language the best software design practices, where as a coder do not and work generally just in one language. Coders can be more advantageous in certain situations, but their return in the future is limited.
