Test automation framework design and optimization is not a one-size-fits all process. Effective automation frameworks needs to account for a company's workflow, culture, resources and technical landscape, while also maintaining focus on the delivery date and shippable products. This can be especially intimidating if you are new to automation.
In this talk I will show you 3 cases from 3 different clients. Each design varies based on the goals of test automation, who should do the testing, the scope of the projects, and the phase the projects when test automation was introduced.
In the end you will learn some proven approaches based on how I set up pragmatic test automation based on my client's needs, to help you set up frameworks of your own.
