I am going to cover a big Wordpress error and one of the worst hassles for wordpress beginners, Add new option is missing in wordpress plugin, wordpress themes and others. I try to fix this in several ways.
Process step by step:
1. Open the C-panel of your site.
2. Go to the online file manager.
3. Enter into htdocs. folder.
4. Find the "wp-config.php" file and go to the edit option which can be found by the right click of the mouse.
5. Delate the "multisite" portion of the code if there is present. Otherwise......
6. If there are 2 lines of code like " Define(disallow file edit, true)" & " Define(disallow file mood, true)" then replace the "true" with "false".
the 2 lines of code will be " Define(disallow file edit, false); Define(disallow file edit, false); ".
7. Save the edited file.
8. Refresh the site and you will find the " Add new plugin" button.
