Hi guys, this is Abhi from Gokcedb. In this video, you're going to learn how to create a pre-signed URL for your s3 object in AWS. Let's start by navigating to the s3 service then click on create a bucket and give your bucket a unique name.
I'm going to leave all the other settings to default and hit create a bucket. Go inside this bucket then click on upload. I'm going to add test files and then hit upload again.
Click on the file name then click on the object URL. As expected we get access denied. To share this object with a third party, click on the object actions dropdown and select share with a pre-signed URL.
Enter the URL expiration time in minutes or hours then click the create pre-signed URL button. The pre-signed URL was automatically going to open a brand new browser and paste it. As you can see now I can access my test file.
Watch what happens when I try to refresh this link after a minute has passed, I get the access denied error. There you have it. Make sure you like, subscribe, and turn on the notification bell. Until next time.
