How to Build a Quantum Computer with One Million Qubits
Building a quantum computer with one million qubits is one of this decade's biggest technological challenges. While all the details are far from solved, here we give a big picture view of what a scalable quantum computer using photonics would look like.
Photonics offers two big advantages to scaling up: mass manufacturability and networkability.
