Python | Types of Arguments in Function Definition | Default and Variable Length Arguments
In large projects, sometimes we may not know the number of arguments to be passed in advance. In such cases, Python provides us the flexibility to offer the comma-separated values which are internally treated as tuples at the function call. By using the variable-length arguments, we can pass any number of arguments.
1)Arbitrary positional arguments:
Syntax:
def function_name(*args): #function definition
body of the function
Function_name(arg1,arg2..)#function call
Arbitrary keyword arguments:
Syntax:
def function_name(**args): #function definition
body of the function
Function_name(key1=arg1,key2=arg2..)#function call
