In this video, you’ll learn how CSS can now understand which element it is inside a group of siblings, and how many siblings exist in total. That means we can create staggered animations, dynamic colors, and even circular layouts without manually hard-coding every single item with nth-child().
We’ll start with the old problem, then use sibling-index() for animation delays, combine it with sibling-count() for relative color calculations, and finally look at a more advanced 3D carousel example that shows how powerful this could become.
