Welcome back to Guide with Samuel!
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to allow camera access in Google Chrome on your Windows PC. Adjusting these settings can fix camera issues in video calls, meetings, and web apps.
Here’s how to do it:
Open Google Chrome on your PC.
Click the three dots menu at the top-right corner and go to Settings.
From the left panel, select Privacy and security → Site settings.
Scroll down and click Camera.
From the drop-down, pick your default camera device.
Make sure the option Sites can ask to use your camera is turned on.
If a site is blocked, find it under the Not allowed section and switch it to Allow.
✅ That’s it! You’ve now enabled camera access in Chrome and fixed common permission issues.
