The preprocessor phase in C/C++ compilation is one of the many features that makes C/C++ different from many other programming languages. With the macro expansion step in the preprocessing phase, we are able to perform substitutions before the actual compilation phase. In this video, I share details about macro expansion and how to inspect the code generated by the preprocessor.
