I chose the wrong size iPad Pro
I spent weeks deliberating, made multiple Apple Store visits, and watched an unhealthy amount of YouTube videos before buying the 11-inch M4 iPad Pro. Now that the M5 iPad Pro is out? I want the 13-inch instead.
Here's the truth about iPad Pro sizing: you're going to second-guess yourself no matter what you choose. Whether you're comparing the 11-inch vs 13-inch iPad Pro, trying to decide if the bigger model is worth the extra $300, or wondering if your iPad can replace your MacBook, the answer is complicated.
In this video, I explain why both sizes make sense (and why neither is perfect), how the Magic Keyboard changes everything, and why your existing devices—like your MacBook Pro and desktop setup—play a bigger role than you think. I'll also cover whether upgrades like cellular connectivity and nano texture display are worth it, what the 3:4 aspect ratio really means for multitasking in iPadOS, and what Apple could do to finally solve this iPad sizing problem.
If you're torn between iPad Pro sizes or wondering whether to upgrade from your current model, this honest comparison will help you make the right choice for your workflow—or at least understand why you'll always wonder about the other one.
