Hi, this is Matt Crawford, and this is a super simple, straightforward video on how to create a poll on X, formerly known as Twitter. I’m right here on my X profile at MattACrawford, if you want to give me a follow. To create a poll, we just go to Post, which opens the standard post options.
Now, to start a poll, we’ll click this Poll icon right here. You’ll see we can enter a question and have a maximum of four choices. Let’s type in a question—maybe something like, “Is Elon Musk good for X?” That’s the first thing that came to mind. For the options, I’ll add “Yes,” “No,” and maybe “Other” to inspire some discussion. I’m not actually going to post this, just showing you the process.
You have the option to add up to four choices for each poll. Then you can set a poll length—the default is one day, but you could set it to 48 hours if you like. Once you’ve entered your question and at least two choices, you’re ready to post it by clicking this blue Post button.
