After Effects - How to split a layer at the playhead (Very Quick Tutorial)
I always forget the keyboard shortcut for splitting a layer at the playhead in After Effects. It's Control+Shift+D / ⌘+Shift+D
It's sort of like a special 'Duplicate', I guess... Control+D / ⌘+D
